CLW was launched on February 1st, 2017 in Belize City, as a partnership between attorneys Yohahhanseh Cave and Pamela Watson. The firm was subsequently joined by attorney Yogini Lohan Cave, and following registration of a change of name to Cave Lochan Watson LLP, the firm continued operations with effect from April 1st, 2017.
CLW is registered under the Limited Liability Partnerships Act. Our mission is to provide a vast area of legal services to our clients at a high standard of excellence with proficiency and professionalism. The three attorneys that currently staff our law firm have a combined total of over eighty years of experience. We also have dedicated and committed members of staff which include a paralegal with a bachelors in law. As such we are able to deliver efficient and professional legal services of the highest quality.

PAMELA LOUise watson
…was admitted to the Jamaican bar in 1977, having graduated with Honors from the law faculty of the University of the West Indies in 1975 where she was awarded the Gaston Johnston Memorial Prize for Criminal Law. This was followed by her attaining the Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley law School in Kingston, Jamaica qualifying her to engage in the practice of law. She was named one of the Top Ten Outstanding Students in her Norman Manley law School graduating class. In 1982 she graduated from the University of Toronto with an LLM having completed her Masters thesis on the development of International Mercantile Law.
Mrs. Watson worked at the Port Authority of Jamaica as a legal assistant in the office of the Chairman and Chief Executive and was subsequently transferred to Jamaica’s national airline, Air Jamaica as in-house legal counsel when the Port Authority chairman was similarly transferred to the presidency of Air Jamaica. She worked in the field of aviation, assuming responsibility for the negotiation of several aircraft leases and purchase agreements of several million dollars in value. She was also integrally involved in corporate matters and a broad array of commercial transactions for the airline, as well as its pension plans and property acquisitions.
Mrs. Watson was contracted as legal consultant to Youngs Law Firm in Belize in 2010 after returning home to Belize and is a founding partner of Cave Lochan Watson LLP.
Yohhahnseh Cave
…was first admitted to practice law in 2001 having obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Guyana in 1999 and a Certificate of Legal Education in 2001 from the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago.
Since being admitted to practice in 2001 he has amassed a broad range of experience in the practice of law. He has acted as a State Counsel in the Chambers of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Guyana and as Senior State Counsel in the Chambers of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Belize. He has also been appointed Legal Assistant to the Chancellor of the Judiciary in Guyana. He as well served as a Magistrate in the East Demerara Magisterial District of Guyana. Mr. Cave also practiced law in the Eastern Caribbean as an Associate Attorney in The British Virgin Islands.
Since November, 2013 he practiced law in Belize at Youngs Law Firm as an Associate Attorney before commencing practice as a founding partner at the firm of Cave Lochan Watson LLP.
Yogini Lochan Cave
…graduated from the University of Guyana in 2005 with a Bachelor of Laws with Honors. She thereafter continued her legal training at the Hugh Wooding Law School, Trinidad and Tobago, where she attained the Legal Education Certificate in 2007.
Mrs. Lochan Cave began her legal career in Guyana, South America where she was employed by the Government of Guyana as a State Counsel within the Chambers of the Attorney General and then as an Associate Attorney with the Guyana Legal Aid Clinic. In 2010 Mrs. Lochan Cave was admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Belize. She joined the Chambers of M.H Chebat & Co. as an Associate Attorney where she dispensed legal advice and representation to some of the major lending institutions and insurance companies in Belize.
In 2014 Mrs. Lochan Cave opened her own practice under the name Vernon & Lochan and in April 2017 she joined Cave Lochan Watson LLP. During the course of her legal career Mrs. Lochan Cave has garnered extensive experience in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, administrative law and contract law.
